A Bit about Mrs. Ohlendorf
This is my fourth year as the ESL Teacher at Northview Middle School. My husband, who is a Lutheran Pastor, and I live in Alexander County, so I drive about 30 minutes to school every day. I have two adult children. My daughter, Rachel and her husband Larry Kovaciny and their son, Daniel, live in Woodbridge, VA. My 4-year-old grandson, Daniel, is my pride and joy. You can see a picture of him here. They also have a 2-year-old daughter named Mercedes. She's my little angel. And now they have added to their family an adorable little girl on December 15, 2012, named Abigail. Rachel's husband, Larry, works for the State Department, in the Passport Division. My son, John Ohlendorf, and his wife, Erika, now live in Chicago, Illinois where he teaches Law at Northwestern University. John recently graduated from Harvard Law School.
I really enjoy teaching ESL to the students at Northview. They have become part of my life! What do I like to do when I'm not teaching?
